About the Speaker:
Joan E. Price earned her Master of Fine Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1971. She went on to produce and direct several video productions with Native American communities in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Since moving to Tularosa in 1994, Price mentored under Cultural Anthropologist Dr. Kay Sutherland and is a founding member and Research Associate of the Jornada Research Institute. Her work combines artistic exploration with archaeological investigation throughout the Tularosa Basin.

Night at the Museum

The Tularosa Basin Historical Society invites you to join us for a fun-filled evening at the Night of the Museum on Friday, October 25, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tularosa Basin Museum of History, 1004 N. White Sands Blvd., Alamogordo, NM. Explore fascinating new displays of history and take part in a scavenger hunt through the museum exhibits. Enjoy ice cream and refreshments while you browse-tickets are just $2 per person, or $5 per family for ice cream.
